Does Gaelic have the same root as French? I've noticed some similarities in the structure, like the lenients, with French also having ch and ç to soften the letters (I'm not sure how to say it, I'm still learning english).
Greetings friend! Outside of both languages considered part of the Indo-European category, they have more differences than similarities. A notable example is sentence structure, where all of the Insular Celtic languages use a Verb-Subject-Object structure while French is more flexible using grammatical cases. I hope this helps!
